In 2011, we made the decision to forgo bottling a Husic Estate bottling, and instead include all of the best parcels in this bottling. The result is a stunning rendition of Palm Terrace, with more complexity, richness, and density than ever before. The nose jumps out of the glass with blackberry, cassis, cherry pie, dark chocolate, vanilla, and exotic spice and sage notes. In the mouth, the palate is dense but lush, with ultimately soft tannins and plush richness leading the overall impression, along with a dose of sheer flavor and power. The wine was aged in 100% new French Oak barrels for 21 months before being bottled unfiltered.
