Our 2010 Pinot Noir was produced from two vineyards in the True Sonoma Coast three miles from the Pacific, north of the Russian River. This tiny three-barrel lot of wine was made with the utmost care and passion to detail, and shows its origins with a graceful display of black cherry, root spices, orange rind, vanilla, sage and cranberry notes. The palate and finish are ultra-smooth and supple, paying homage to the great wines of Burgundy while maintaining a sense of place that is undeniably Californian. Aged in 66% new French Oak for 11 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
