The 2010 Husic Chardonnay hails from the upper reaches of a canyon high above Sonoma Valley, and shows an abundance of focus and minerality from this location. Aromas of lemon curd, peach pie, flint, cinnamon, and sage greet the nose, leading to a palate with great volume and creaminess, but excellent balancing acidity. This wine was made in a Burgundian style and was fermented and aged in 50% new French Burgundy barrels, and bottled unfined and unfiltered after 11 months in barrel.
